Default Whats up with NGK plug numbers....

It seems that they don't go by the part number any more, they go by a stock-on -the-shelf number. i only know that number cause they ask me what i drive, but i need one step colder (PFR7G-11) which is in the helms. Does anyone work some where were they can tell me a stock number or anything for me to get these plugs.

OK, i just found out that these plugs are 12.35 a piece. Thats the plug it recommends to run as far as being a colder plug. Does anyone have any other suggestions as far as a colder plug (7) in NGK. I'm not running boost or NO2 just Type-s piston and i figured a cooler plug would help. Any part numbers you guys would like to tel me cause spending over 50 dollars desn't sound good to me.

ludegirl i could use some if you have extra after this guy..

they were $12 because you got the ones numbered PFR7F.. the 'P' stands for platinum which is very expensive. the regular ones, like ludegirl has, are copper.
