Swap Question :d16a6 to d15b7
Okay currently i have a 91 HF with a d16a6, but im getting a free d15b7 from my friend. And i was wondering what all do i need to swap this into my car?. The reason being is because the a6 is getting up there with the miles, and the b7 only have 112k miles. So can i use the insisting wire harness? and since the motor is an obd1 , i have to use the a6 dizzy, intake manifold(fuel injectors), And Si tranny? Or can i use the b7 intake manifold with out converting obd0-1?And can i use my a6 cam gears? Any help would help out alot . THanks in advance.
there wouldnt be any wiring involved. just take the entire harness off the a6, take the intake manifold and distributer off the a6, put them on the d15, then put the wiring harness from the a6 on the d15. then slap your flywheel(if its different than the a6), swap your a6 tranny on it, drop it in, and drive away
