Max rim size for DC5?
i can't answer that but i know that it fits 17x9 in the rear...my buddy has some oldskool work j-wing's on there and it just tucks perfectly - maybe you've seen it. he has a blk dc5 sponsored by bomex..last show he was at if i remember correctly was the drift contest a couple of months back.
the guy that jdmjunky is refering to is me. i'm actually riding on 17x9 with like a +32 offset. ****, i dont remember...hahaha. either 32 or 35. anyhow, the tires are 235/45-17 and there is a little rubbing in the inner fender well but nothing too bad. i have pics but i dont know how to post them on the thread. i'll send you some pics to your e-mail.

I'm using the Progress springs and the front has minimal camber while the rear has substantial (about 7degrees or more). Probably due to the front MacPherson/Rear wishbone set-up.
No rub issues at all so far. I'd even say i could probably run a 235mm tire width without getting too close. I'd actually be more worried about the inside fender-well than the outside considering anything greater than a +45 offset.
It's all really a guess right now. I need to take some time and do some measuring to know for sure.
Hope that helps.

hmmm,.I doubt it..I have the GT-C's 19x8.5 and 19x9.5(on my Z) and they are damn wide..the fronts??? MAYBE???you'd be scrubbing like hell--If your serious?????
you'd be going nowhere fast I tell you that...I'm not out for the Killer Fast Z..i'm just tryin to look good--so Thats why I went w/ the 19's and for some reason,.18's on the Z look small to me--call me weird--->but thats a differnet car
Stay 16's or 17's on the DC5 IMO

DC5 would hold 18's just fine even slammed--but even on my DC2 I had 18x.7.5 @ 1 point and slammed in the front---I couldn't take a sharp turn...but the lip--espically w/ VOLKS...they have to be a wide Rim-(8-not much of a lip,8.5 theres a nice lip,9.5-Very large lip,..but it all depends on the off set and thats where the wheel would be sticking out the fender lip causing it to rub like hell!ROLLED FENDERS would be a must
--the only ones I can think of would be AXIS...w/ that "Maxxis Lip"--its the same size width(front & Back) but the lip in the rear is bigger then the front and theres no width difference!

with my 17s, the lip is about 3 to 4 inches. i know, sounds unbelievable but its true. i suggest if you want to go with 17s and with a fat lip, go with a 17x9 with like a +32 or +35 offset. let me know what you are going to do.

DAMN....thats like bigger then my lip---my front lip is probably 2 1/2inches(28 off-set--the Rear is maybe 4+ inches(enough to sit a pack of "smokes" sideways on the lip and a little more) and I got 9.5's in the rear w/ a 24mm Offset
damn what kinda of wheels are they?

"Numba one Stunna," that should be the theme song to this thread! haha
If you don't care about "performance" i think 18" X 8" rims are the perfect (best looking) size for the DC5. Good luck with your decision.
