90 or 91 teg ecu, will it work???
instead of gettting a chip, will a 90 or 91 teg ecu provide better fuel and ignition timing maps??? I'm assuming it will because they are obd0 (correct?), if so i can probably get one for cheap, let me know

I don't know about "better", but it will definitely be richer. The obd-0 PR-4 ECU is made to feed a dual-cam 1.8L. Your D16A6 might choke and foul plugs with that much gas...not to mention what will happen to your gas mileage
I'm using an 89 Teg ECU (PG7) with my ZC, and it still runs a little rich and throws O2 sensor codes once in a while.... And the 89 teg had a 1.6 stock!
A better solution would be a SAFC/VAFC or a Zdyne SECU on your current ECU(PM6), then buy some dyno time.
But what do i know... i'm a quasi-newbie...
