Default DPFI to MPFI. cylinder postion sensor?

i'm doing the DPFI to MPFI swap and the site i was using for the info ( http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/4gdxtozc.html ) talkes about a cylinder position sensor. what the heck is it, and where is it located? this site is talking about a zc swap, but i'm keeping my d-series and just swaping in the intake. if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. also, do i need to use the si ecu, or can i use my dx ecu? any help would be great. thanks

The cylinder position sensor plug doesn't apply to your setup. It says run the wires from C1 and C2 to the plug on your ZC, which I believe is located on the exhaust cam. On ever other MPFI honda motor, the cylinder position is built into the distributor. You just runt he blue/green wire from C1 to the corresponding wire on the distributor's plug. Same goes with the blue/yellow wire from C2. The thing is b/c the SI/HF distributor plugs are round and hold 7 wires, 2 of which wires are for the cylinder position. On the ZC, there is an external sensor for these.
