Suspension HELP!!! (Todd00 would like your opinion)
Currently I have Skunk2 coilovers on my Ep. And I feel I severly need some shocks. The car is fine straight ahead, as it smooths out quickly after a bump or small dip in the road. But in the corners, it feels loose and bouncy. I was wonder if there is good set of shocks I could combine with my coilovers to hold me and have a decent set up. in the future i plan on either Tien's or JIC FLT or whatever they are called. The JIC just came to my attention recently and the second part of my question would be... which of these 2 are better in you alls opinion? Iwould greatly appreciate your feedback.
No shocks for the EP3 as of yet. Koni does make some, but they aren't a bolt-in affair.
And what you describe is exactly what happens when you run too much springrate on a set of shocks. You get way too much bounce in the corners because the shock can't control the springrate.
So, either wait for someone to release a good shock for the EP3 and use that with your skunk2's, or sell the coilovers and get a set of full body coilovers (Tein, JIC, BuddyClub, etc). Not much else you can do right now.
As for Tein vs JIC on the EP3, I don't know because I have not yet tried the JIC. Actually, the JIC is one of the few coilovers I have not tried on any car.

Thanks Todd, your opinion is one i really value on the site. I guess ill just give it some time and see what my options our in the future. You spoke of springrate, so the closer to stock i have my coilovers, the better ill feel? Thanks again!
Konig does make shocks for the EPs...
This is the part # for the front 8610-1415Sport and for the rear 8010-1050Sport .
And the whole set costs $600.
edit - ic u put "koni does make some"
