89 and 90/91 clusters

Default 89 and 90/91 clusters

is it a just a straight plug in of 90/91 into 89s?? or are there wiring changes required?

is this a crx or civic? i have heard that 89 crxs are the same as the 90-91, but the 89 civic one is the same as the 88 civic one.

so....
- 89-91 crx are the same
- 88-89 civic are the same

and you will have to change the housing to the later style if it's a CRX. I believe that the 88-89 and 90-91 housings are different

rule of thumb: If the housing is a different shape, then the wiring is going to be different.
