Default OT: Burning hot shifter

What do you guys do when your car is outside for a while and the titanium is burning hot from the sun beatin on it. I put a towel over it but still gets hot. Should I get tint?

I just put my hand on it like a mandoes.

Boba- who says suck it up and gives the idea about using a glove to go over top of it.

I use my Mechanix glove for a few minutes.

I though about making some kind of little sock for it. I am also really contemplating getting tint and a windshield cover. That will help with the inside fading and the hot shifter.

After last time, I am very suprised that I don't have the shift patterned burned into my hand. Kind of like the guy in Indiana Jones when he grabbed the talisman.

It's aluminum, and it does get hot. That's why I got rid of it for this one instead:

I didn't get mine from IPS, but they obviously have them.

i just keep my hat over it and that sort of does the trick. But here in sunny Ca, nothing can help that much. Especially when you have a black car
