well that could be true. but i went on a site ..GlobalGuard or something and they used a GPS system to track your car. But from what i read up, The Lo Jack is activated when your car is stolen and the only way to find it is it a Cop passes it by or something with its frequency. I read this up on a thread on H-T. So yeah..Need help still

So you are looking for a GPS tracking system, and not one that will tell you how to get to your destination. Sorry, I can't help ya.
It depends on what is available in your area. The GPS systems are actually GPS and cellular. It dials in with a cellular number and uses the GPS to track the car. You are able to track your car 24/7 with these, a long with a few other features. You are also able to see where the car is at from any computer. You may call your local police department and also ask them if they participate with lojack. I think you might be surprised that not all do or you will get a delayed response. I like the idea of actually knowing where it is at myself.
