hey guys im new to hondas ive been a neon guy for a while and still am but i came across a deal of a lifetime on a honda. i got a 90 dx plus a b16a1, ls hydro tranny and ecu, brand new stage 2 clutch and dc header all in gteat condition for 1000.oo dlrs car runs good but i want the vtec. i am trying to do research on a howto install and parts i have a list of things i know i need as wireing harnes,halfshafts,tranny [would like hydro but ls gears r 2 long] pedals and shifter assembly. what halfshafts can i use? and can i get any of those parts from a junkyard/parts store. as for a tranny i have heard so cable ones come w/ lsd. or could i gt a hydro kit and use an itr tranny?. a mount kit to make my job easyer thanks for any info

 

well it seems that you are asking all the right questions but swapping in a B16 has been covered alot. It would take alot of time to answer all your questions so I would recomend that you do a search. It will be at the top right of your screen. I suggest searching b16 in this forum as well as Hybrid. also search both recent topic and arcived ones. Be prepared to do alot of reading. After you have all the basics down then go ahead and ask any other questions you may have. Goodluck
