i finally got my bike, my 94 kawi ninja zx6. ne waise almost every time i shift into second, as soon as i give it some throttle,itll click a couple times then 2 seconds later it finally catches and the bike lunges a lil. im wondering what kinda problem it is? how much $ to fix it? and maybe if i could fix it myself? thanks for looking

 

could be clutch slipping, or maybe one of your shift forks. not sure man. its a kawi, hahaha j/k. have a shop check it out, or have a friend who is mechanically inclined to take a look

 

Check your oil? Find out what kind is in there. Maybe your clutch is slipping due to the incorrect viscosity and cluth properties of the oil. I use MOBIL 1 for motorcycles. Works great since day 1.
