ACCord has STARTING probs....

Default ACCord has STARTING probs....

so i borrowed my cuzin's accord to drive around while my car is in the shop.. its a 91 accord with 161k on it... Sometimes i have trouble starting it.. EX: when i crank it up, it takes a couple of cranks before it starts... sometimes i would have to wait awhile and try cranking it up again.. ne suggestions?!?!

How old are the tune-up things? (plugs, wires, fuelfilter, etc.)

Are you in the habit of turning the key directly to start, or do you wait a second for the fuel pump to prime?

change oil and oil filter. Get new spark plugs too.

you have to wait to crank it? i didnt know that... i thought it was only require on diesel vehicles.. for me... ne way i dont know how old the parts are.. ne ways and yea i have a habit of starting the car without waiting for the fuel pump to prime..

takes 2 seconds, Wait for the CEL to go off.

It's a problem among hondas. But I'll bet changing that oil and filter would help you more.
