i have a 92 accord and wanted to remove the trunk tension rods that hold the trunk open located directly under the 6x9s, im want to build boxes for my 6x9s but have no room, has anyone found anything good to replace them with?

 

a prop rod to hold the trunck open. be careful when you take them out cause they are under tension and will snap out of the perches.
