Default trunk tension rods

i have a 92 accord and wanted to remove the trunk tension rods that are directly under the 6x9s and wondered what i could replace them with

you should be able to dremmel away whatever is in the way, the very ends of the springs are not necessary, there is a tool from Honda that was VERY heplful when I installed the OEM spoiler, I don't think I would have gotten the stronger rods on without it.

i am trying to do this so that i can build boxes for my 6x9s, i dont want them to compete with my sub for airspace
