Default AN-R vs. SMSP vs. Hytech??

saw another post in the tech forum of a b16b pulling mad power w/ an-r header, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=489353

I was wondering how this header compares w/ smsp and hytech, since those are the ones ITR owners like most of the time...

Don't forget that's a Dynapack, which dynos a bit higher than Dynojets since it attaches directly to the hub. Strong numbers though the curve could use a little work but I'm sure tuning would fix that easily.

I'm sure all those expensive custom-type headers will perform fantasically though. All of them were built with extensive research and do not have the mass-market in mind.

yeah, the AN-R header design definitely is, for lack of a better word, creative? so I guess longer primaries mean better low end? is that right?

That is my old header I was the first to order the Stainless Steel one. And that is the pic of it. I baught it and sold it two weeks later to pay bills. I wish I still had that thing I would like to know what kind of power it really put down. I have seen only one dyno for AN-R and I dont think it was on a B-series motor. Someone please do get a dyno of the AN-R compared to the others like Spoon, Mugen, SMSP, Hytech. I want to see what the thing really does before I make the right decisiton and buy a header. I want something that makes good lowend but still has great highend RPM power.
