Will a 5-lug w/ abs have problems on a non-abs car?
A couple of questions:
1. Do JDM ITR's have abs?
2. Will I encounter problems adapting a 5-lug setup w/ abs on a 96 civic w/o abs?

The only difference in the pieces you're going to be using is the presence of the ABS ring on the axles.. it's an aluminum ring with squared-off bumps on it that the wheel speed sensor "reads" to determine each wheel's speed relative to the others. I'm 99% sure you can leave these on for a non-ABS car, but I am 100% sure they pop right off with a few light whacks with a well-placed flathead screwdriver and hammer.
I installed an ABS 5-lug on my EG and had no problems at all. I just removed all of the sensors. The rears are a no brainer, but I don't know for sure about the fronts. My axles did NOT have the abs ring and worked fine with the abs front knuckles.
Don't know about the 96, but it worked fine with a 93.

Since you don't have ABS, your car isn't looking for any ABS signals. ONly time you would have a problem is if your car was looking for a signal and not getting it.
