is there any horsepower or performance gained with these modifications
Guys i have a 95 accord ex, and i worked on it a little bit. It has a full cat back exhaust system, headers, air inatke, msd ignition with the amp, and AEM adjustable cam gear. Is there any horsepower gained and if yes what's your estimate. Also should i expect more performance, because i remember reaching 125mph while it was completely stock and the car did'nt even maxed out yet. Well thanks anyways guys.
Auto or 5 speed?
I'm guessing youd be around 135-140 wheel horsepower for a 5 speed. I hit 143hp with a few more bolt ons and some tuning.
If its an auto youre screwed.

If it doesn't feel like one, it's broken.

For an auto....probably more like 125 wheel horsepower.
145 - ~.25% loss = 109.
109+ 15% (being nice) = 125hp.
Just throwing out numbers. Dyno would tell you for sure...and allow you to tune the cam gear.

what i dont get is that a 92 integra gs has 140 hp and i smoked two of them and they both were manual trans, and i also smoked a 93 accord coupe dx manual 125hp, so how can a 109 hp (in dreams) accord ex auto sedan (heavier than both the integras and accord dx) Can someone please explain this to me. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, but yeah in going to do a dyno and i'll make sure i post up the results to shut a lot of people off

Dyno and reply back.
Everyone always claims more hp than they put down. I thought I'd be over 150 hp NA and when I dynoed I was put in my place.

1. There cars are probably in worse motor condition (mileage, maintenance, etc.)
2. They're really bad drivers.
3. Everyone knows auto Accords are the fastest vehicles on Earth.

crank hp is real hp made at the motor with no or very little loss.
wheel hp is hp that is being put down to the ground after drivertrain loss.
