Default tein coilover question

I was considering going with GC's and Illumina's for my suspension setup. But i hear alot of people here and on other forums rave about Tein's. On their website, there is a page with different specs for different applications

http://www.tein.com/ssdamp.html

Over where it says 'Ride Height' and 'Ride Height Adjust Range' if gives a measurement of -2.1 inches.

Am I correct in understanding that the highest setting for these coilovers is 2.1 inches lower than stock?

This is going to be a daily driver in upstate NY where we can get some decent snow.

Any imput for alternatives is greatly appreciated.

the tein ss' can be lowered to 2.1" which is good because of where you are living/weather conditions. i believe this is the best suspesnion setup for the money. it has 16 way dampening adjustability and is excellent for daily driving. if you are not into the dampening adjustability, you can go w/ the tein basic damper kit.

Also remember that that is how low you can go...since they are adjustable in height, you can pick the height you want. And anytime if you have a choice, it's better to go with full coilovers since the spring and shock blend together perfectly instead of a chance of mismatched springs and shock combo.

Thanks for the replies. I guess to focus my question a little more, under Ride Height Adjust Range for my application it says for the front Max/Min -2~-3.5. And for the back Max/Min is -1.7~2.7. To me this says the highest ride height you can have is 2 inches below stock and the lowest ride height is 3.5 inches below stock for the front Am I reading this incorrectly?
