....is it a problem?!
Well, I droved an stock ITR today with stock EVERYthing except H&R lowering springs. It hat 195/55/15 winter tires on stock springs. It seemd to me this ITR has a "better" suspension that me, the ride is harder, but kinda stiffer and faster working or something, hard to describe.
The Spedo shows 110kph on a long 90 degree curve, that s is near the limit of this cat with this suspension and tire setup. I don't know the camber and toe.
I thought, what the ****, why is it so quick in the curves and handles so good even with winter tires.
My cars suspension setup: stock dampers with AP lowering springs and camber correction kit, about 1.5 degrees all around. ZERO toe, 225/45/16 Good Year high performance tire on Volk te37
To my surprise: The max I was able to drive thru the curve was about 110-115kph on the speedo. uhm, thats the same speed than this stock ITR was able to do.
Are my dampers gone after lots of AutoX?! My suspension has 44000 miles on it, while the suspension from the stock ITR has only abour 35000 miles on it.
MY ride feels also a bit unstable in high curves and the car was going to "roll" over. Hard to describe.
What can that be?!

I am decribing two cars
one is stock with H&R springs on stock dampers. 195/55 winter tires
mine is Turbo with striped trunck and AP springs on stock dampers. 225/45/16 summer tires

My guess is that your alignment has changed with your larger tire/wheel setup (+ many autoX).
Or, your suspension setup was not dialed up for the curve. Maybe it was too stiff for the condition, whereas, the "stock" R suspension was more accomodating for the road condition.
You should try Mugen suspension, takes the guesswork out of trying to dial the setup. Plug-n-pay w/ minimal adjustments to get the most out of the car.

Your springs are prolly to stiff for your stock dampers. Or your dampers are gone. It could also be the other setups like camber, toe, wheel offset and others....

your tires are going to have alot more to do with your speed in a solid-state curve like you're describing than springs/shocks will.
Dampers only affect transitions and the way your car reacts to irregularities in the road, springs are more part of that equation than they would be in a steady corner.

I say camber. You changed your camber with the camber kit to -1.5. He's running on H&R's with no camber correction kit (He gained negative camber due to lowering his car). Does that make sense?
He probably has somewhere between 3* negative in the front and you only have 1.5* of negative camber. Therefore the difference in cornering speed...late
Edit: Just read your post again. Your stock struts are probably worn. Higher spring rates wear them out pretty quick.
