That is weird. I've never heard of them. It looks good in theory but I wonder if it actually works...

F22 and H23's crank and rod dimensions are the same, therefore identical clearance.

Do you think that there would be any concerns with not getting enough oil to the crank/rods?

Isn't this sort of what the windage tray in the H22A does?

the windage tray in the H22 doesn't cover nearly as much as this thing does.

the way i understand it- it keeps the spinning motion of the crank from creating a whirlwind of oil that inhibits the rotation of the crank. makes enough sense..

But if the crank doesn't sit in oil, who cares?

the crank may not need to sit in oil. If the crank is moving at such speeds that our cars do, then I think it might be possible for the crank to start whipping up oil.

so satan, you're sure of the fact that there's no drag or significant resistance put on the oil by the whipping around of oil that this piece wouldnt alleviate? (just trying to further understand this thing- when i emailed him for more details all he did was try to pitch a sale)

....there are a lot better things to spend your money on if you ask me..do you track race at 9000rpms for 300 laps? no? Well then maybe that's why only nascar uses them...
