OT: Valve Cover :burning:
Since I had a spare valve cover sitting around, i decided i was going to paint it. My roomate volunteered to give me a hand since he's really good with the Art stuff, and paint some flames on it (sounds gay but its gonna look badass).
So, in order to paint it I have to strip the old paint off. Off to walmart we go and get some "aircraft stripper". There's about 37 warnings on the can that say "flammable". Excellent....
So I sprayed the stripper on... took it outside, and lit :fire: to it
2 rounds of this all the factory paint just slopped off with a paper towell. Good ****!

Uhm... yeah. The 'aircraft stripper' comes in a blue can with a white top and found in the paint section of the automotive section at wally world. Given the noxious fumes and excessive warning label on the can, its definately worth the $2 or $3. It burns *really* well once its lit.
I would definately use this stuff to strip the paint or finish off of anything.
Oh yeah... dont inhale the fumes.

Spray it off? Burn it off........ please.
And for rubber, given the rate at which this stuff destroys the paint, i wouldnt use it with a tire mounted at all - just too much of a risk, IMO. To quote my roomate "stuff that just eats other stuff is cool... heh.. heh"

that's all i needed to know. now i can run out and grap the 13" rims for my hatch wid the tires mounted and go to town. i wonder how long it will take before it eats the tires and everything. then i can burn what ever is left.
