Are all ignitors from a OBD-1 distributor universal??

I have a JDM h22a motor using a USDM distributor. I need to know whether or not all ignitors are universal. Can I use any ignitor from any OBD or do I need to specifcally use a h22a ignitor?

I have a spare h22 ignitor if you need it. But it should work without any problems, the best way to find out would be to try it out though..
