They're telling me no vafc is better for break in?

Default They're telling me no vafc is better for break in?

Okay, the guy that did all my machine work and swap etc. told me not to put a vafc into my car while breaking it in for at least 1000 miles.

I didn't think this sounded right, but I am not the Bill gates of d16's. Can someone tell me if this is tru or not

If its not, what do I say to him to make him look stupid.

What if you don't change any settings, why would it matter that it is hooked up anyway? If done properly it would just be in a display type mode using only the stock ECU.
