in the past week or so my rear hatch has been rettling really bad, I can't see anything loose, but I haven't tore into the hatch or anthing. I'v heard that integras have a problem with this. Do any others of you have this problem or had this problem, if so, HOW DO I FIX IT????? It has been driving me crazy, and when people ride in my car I feel like they think its a tin can!!!!

 

Pop the hatch and underneath it you will notice these two rubber stoppers. Make sure both of them are there...

 

This is one of the most common problems with integra's. What you do is you take electrical tape, wrap it around the little latch for your hatchback. I'm sure you know the latch I'm talking about. Its the U-shaped thing that holds your latch down. But, like I said, wrap electrical tape around it, and, it'll be fine. I've had mine wrapped for almost a year now, and, haven't noticed anymore noises.

 

So what's the problem? The latch isn't thick enough or something to keep the hatch from going up or down? Doesnt the electrical tape get cut up eventually from wear and tear of the hatch constantly closing and opening?
And how thick should you wrap the tape around the latch.....
