Default i have an old carberated civic 1.5 L and want some tips to get some cheap power

i have a 1985 civic hatchback 1.5 L, and i wanted to know what some cheap ways to modify a carberated engine to give it more power. i know its not the grateist but its what i got for right now and i want to make the best of it.

sell it and buy a self propelled lawnmower

Ok, On a serious note...I have seen people get ls swaps in those gens...and were pretty happy with them. If I was you, I would get something Mpfi and / or sell your car and get an 88-91. Those seem to be better candidates

Cut an air cleaner lid. Make it so its like an open air filter. I dunno if it does anything for performance but it sounds cool if you really flog on it
