Mini Me swap block info?????
Maybe. There's a chance that when VTEC engages, the valves could hit the pistons - most HF motors only have 2 valve indents on the pistons themselves, instead of 4 (since it's an 8 valve motor, 2 per cylinder).
But even if that doesn't happen, it would be a waste of time/effort/money. The HF bottom end is a POS - it's not going to be able to handle 7k+ RPM rev's, which is something you need to get the most out of a SOHC VTEC motor...

i can tell the block would not be able to high rpm's just looking for a lil power between swaps. I heard the DX head had good gains with the HF block any info??

Like he just said... even without the VTEC head, the HF block only has 2 valve reliefs. You may get contact between the pistons and valves. Just save for your swap.
