Why did you ditch the N1? Hang to low?

Nice looks good, I wounder what it sounds like. So are you putting this muffler on to give it some what of a stock appearance?

Its gonna be loud as *****. I'm still N/A and running 3" from the cat. The N1 was fine as far as fitment. I had it custom welded by the shop I go to when I need work done. I'm just looking for alittle less flash.

Here's the current set-up.

Why are you running a 3" exhaust when you are N/A?
Planning for turbo anytime soon? or were you turbo and went back to N/A???

Just wondering.

My stock muffler fell off a while back and I knew I wanted to go turbo eventually. I didn't want to fix it back to stock and then pay AGAIN to get an aftermarket system. I went ahead and got it done. Planning on turbo when the money/timing is good. I recently missed out on the group buy on the A'PEXi turbo kit for $1299 shipped . I called to order and they wouldn't take AMEX, so I moved some funds around and by that time they were sold out. REALLY mad me mad. So, it'll probably be a little while longer.

It is loud. I Got it on the car this after noon. Its louder then my N1 with a silencer, but it's quieter then the N1 w/o the silencer.

It looks so sleek with only a 3 inch "tip". I'll try to post picks in a few days.

On a scale of 1-10, how loud was the N1? With the silencer out, how bad would it be for a daily driver?

Well w/o a turbo and running 3" pipe the N1 is a 10. Setting off car alarms and making it hard to listen to the radio at times. With a turbo or silencer it wouldn't be bad for daily driving.
