a little insight to burning oil from australia!!!
Hey, just got my car back on the road after a full rebuild. I was talking to the mechanic and we isolated my problem. Of all things, the header was way too close to the sump. About 1mm off!!!! This obviously caused the oil to vapourise. I advise you guys to possibly check your headers if your consuming oil. This lesson has cost me 5000 aussie dollars, not too bad eh!!!!
Well a quick fix it is that we're taking th header to an exhaust shop, mandrel bend to create more clearance. Also my compression tests are 184, 182, 180 184. Are these expected figures for my setup?????????
Thanks
Will keep posted re dyno plot!!!!!!

i have never had this problem....and mine has been in numerous track events...
I think i know what the problem may be...you circuit race right?..if so it may be wise to invest in a baffled sump...
2 of my friends has had there motors go...due to high speed High G corners of some circuits...
hope that helps...oh and get an oil pressure gauge and check ALWAYS oil levels.
cheers

motorcycle shops sell the coolest stuff..
