H22 swap (cable tranny) question?
I'm currently swapping an H22 into a 92 Civix DX hatch. I am using a 90-93 Accord shift box. The problem is the cables push back when I try to shift through the gears. What do you recommend to stabalize the trany cables?
I had that problem too, I had to go to Honda and purchase these 2 clips that held them in place. I think there were like $4 ea. if you have the helms you will see exactly those 2 clips that you most likely didnt recieve with your motor. Which was what happened with me.
I've got two clips leftover from my swap if anybody needs them.
Just shoot me an IM and they're yours
BTW, the clips on the shifter assembly and on the tranny are the same...you need 4 total.
