how to wire them little l.e.d.s?
hey, i was messing with my car and wires yesterday didn't know what i was doing but still didn't work only works if the car is off. i just split a lot of wires to try and get a positive and negative to power just TWO! leds? so right now i'm just using 2 6 volts batteries to power my leds
do i need a relay thing and connect wires to my battery? and use the power source from there? thanks

On a serious note, though, you can wire them to any positive, switched source and any ground and they should work fine when the switch for your "hot" wire is activated. If you can't make it work using that formula, you should definately practice moving your car around the block only using your starter motor

haha, i'm glad you mentioned that.
i blew a headgasket on my friends subaru, and it kinda just died in the middle of the road, so i left it in gear and kept turning it over (it wouldnt start) and the starter motor got it to move far enough off the road.
lol

Great way to ruin a starter, but fantastic way to creep out of traffic if your engine's shot

on a serious note i had a blown tach with a LED shif tlight and i hooked it up to my original LED and found out it will not work unless it is hooked up in a series form...u cannot just tap into the wires and expect it to work...took me awhile till i looked online and found a artical on it...
