Do you need new injectors with nitrous?
I have a 98 h22a, and currently running a 50hp shot of NX. I will be going up to a direct port and 80hp or possibly 100hp(doubtful). I have the walbro 255lph pump and b&m guage and fuel regulator waiting to go in before I spray again this summer. My question is what is the size of stock h22a injectors, and will I need new ones to run safely and not go lean?
One more thing, is there a big difference from going obd2-obd1? Is it just the harness or do you need the ecu too?
Thanks

save money, good to hear! if it was dry kit, I would have to upgrade the injectors because the fuel flows through the injectors? Thanks

You shouldn't need it, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. Lightning has the Walboro 255 lph pumps for 89 shipped. I put mine in last weekend. It took about 2 hours or so and I was taking my dear sweet time.

Somebody in the FI forum complained about noise? Those guys are usually pretty hardcore.
I can't hear it except for at idle and when I get low on gas. You've got to keep in mind that I drive my car daily with no radio and stripped from the front seats back. I don't even consider running open header to be loud enough to be a nuisance. A little extra buzz from the pump doesn't really bother me.

yes.
yes.
Do you guys think that it is pretty safe to run a 80hp or 100 hp shot on an h22a with the NX progressive controller with all your basics like plugs, msd ignition with retard, pump, fule guage, fuel regulator...etc? I love the controller because it slowly injects the nitrous. Do you guys think that its pretty safe to go from my 50hp to 100hp? thanks
Anyone can run an 80 shot on an H22. I won't tell anyone to run a 100 shot, though, because I haven't done it and am not sure if it will work or not.
"should" be only 5hp more per cylinder. doesnt sound much but i dont have any experience. all i know is that when i went from 50 to 75 on my h22 accord on the single fogger kit, i had no idea what traction was. I set the controller to start at like 40% then slowly get up to 100%, but when i used it off the launch, which i normally do, it spun so bad once the nitrous turned on. now im going to direct port before i use it again.

Well eventually those 5 extra hp will add up and pop the motor. I think the H22 will hold a 100 shot, but I won't recommend it to anyone. See where I'm coming from?

Do you think the motor will be just as reliable on the 80hp shot like the 50hp shot? Im only talking about 20 runs at most in a season.
The more you spray the more you are going to wear down your engine. Do the maintenance, compression checks, and tuning and the engine will last a long time on the 80 shot.
