not my fault. happend at church. i was leaving and some lady pulled out from the right and hit my car . not bad. i just got this car too!. i have on paper a statement signed by her saying she was at fault.

lol just one side? hah screw that. i was checking it out closer just now, 90% of the damage is on the moulding. i think i could jsut replace that and buff out the scratch on the door and fix the dents below the moulding.

im gonna try to get it replaced, it looks more jacked up in person than shown in the pic. and reason why i posted it was because, I JUST GOT THE CAR for my 19th bday

all you need is the driver side door molding or just paint that white again. no biggie.

EDIT: Also you should be lucky since the door moldings actually did their jobs of protecting the body of the car. Most of the time they don't.

passenger side.... im gonna try to get it replaced. get the scractch above the molding buffed. and the 3 dents under the molding fixed.

yup! but its such as hassel to get it fixed and stuff. prob wont have my ride for 2-3 days.

EDIT- is the best thing for me to do is get an estimate from the dealer... say i get the money. could i just buy the molding and replace it myself and keep the rest of the money?

just get it fixed

well..thats what moldings are there for! if you had shaved them **** would have been nasty. i say for moldings and their accident subduing power. sorry to hear about the ride but all will be well if you just fix up the molding and repaint it.

 

Its better then what my Neighbor did to me as she was pulling out of my driveway as I just got into the street...

Just let them fix the damage she did and be gone with it.

you shouldnt worry about your dad tripping..your dad should be happy that you went to church! Also since its not your fault, i'm sure he wont care especially since you have written documentation saying she is at fault. Also, the damage only looks like the side molding. should be an easy fixer

my dad tripped when this happened to my sister. her car was hit at the mall. he got mad because she didnt call the cops. but she didnt have a written document like i got proving i wasnt at fault. so i dont know how hes going to take it. about one more hour till he ges home. ill keep you updated.
