Default exhaust cut-off switch from straight-pipe to stock???

i was just watching Horsepower TV and they had a setup that at the flick of the switch reroutes exhaust from the stock setup to a custom straight pipe setup...and then just flick it back and it goes back to stock??? looked pretty damn crazy..do they make that kind of stuff for imports or would it only make sense for a high-hp and torque domestic monsters...

I'm pretty sure Ive heard of this done on imports.....they had it connected to some kind of release thing inside the car like you parking brake and you pull it and it reroutes the exhaust to running straight headers.....I think they sell them on ebay calling them dump pipes or something along that line
