Have a HONDA ACCORD 89 LXI my gas guage is not working, it has a half of a tank of gas in it. when i drive and come to a stop light or stop sign its rpm goes practically under 1000 then feels like it wants to cut off. I recently got the o rings on the injectors replaced since then its been idling up to 2000 then once worm it goes down 1000....... I have not yet changed my wires or distributor or rotor... It does hesitate like if its missing... Any of you have any ideas what may cause this?

 

Have you replaced your cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires lately? My 3rd gen was hesitating and I got crappy milege so I replaced my wires. I got 40-50 more miles to a tank and the car runs smooth now.

 

Also replace your fuel filters...
