Maybe a great cheap idea...but personnaly,I wouldn't mess with that!

Can the weld be trust?
Yeah,axle will do some contact...

after thinking about this concept for a few minutes I don't see how these would actually ruinanything, the shock setups will remain the same so you won't be bouncy.... but something tells me not to go with them... I dunno, just seems like something wouldn't get into myself, but I can't see anything too wrong with them... more opinions please I would like to hear some more info about this too

if i broke a suspension part i would'nt weld it back together so no, i would'nt buy a pre-welded part.

stay away form them. Welding Cast steel is a very difficult process. Cast wasn't designed to be welded. You can use nickel rod and heat the part and weld with some succes but stay away from these homemade jobs. that's one part you don't want failing at 80 mph
