has anyone tryed cold welds??

hey guys, last nite I broke the bleeder off my motor mount, I was wondering if any has tryed cold weld to hold down metal to metal, or should I just get it welded???

Looks like the bleeder from the Thermostat housing...
As a machinist,I do some cold welding...Unless there is some rod in Aluminum,I don't think that would be possible.
Even if it was made in steel(The casing),that would not be enough as far as strenght is concern.
Get another one...it's cheap.
You could weld it but not with cold welding.
Maybe you could use Epoxy,but I'm not shure if it will hold enough if you need to open the bleeder...
