tach, odometer swap
which odometers if any can swap into the 88dx shitback!? will a crx one fit!? if so what mods of any to the wireing will i have to do . .dx's dont have the RPM, it's not biggie i just like to have one there i dont like just having MPH.. thanx in advance
special wiring is needed if you want a 90-91 cluster, but any 88-89 civic/crx cluster will plug right in, no mods needed. even the tach wire is already run in your harness. The wrecking yard computers will tell you that the wagon cluster won't fit, but I put a wagon cluster in my hatch and it works fine.
If your hatch is an automatic, make sure to get your new cluster from an auto or you wont have the indicator lights.
Here's how I did mine:

you don't have to swap odometers like I did, I just wanted my car to be accurate. Accually, later on when I put my re-built A6 in, I broke back into the odometer and re-set it back to 0000000.0
