Ok,
Other than SC's and Turbo, how much can you do to a GSR engine to increase HP. And what are the costs involved. Reason why I ask this is lots of people say they cannot afford an ITR yet you hear this and that and I am sure after all the mods it adds up to more than an ITR.
This doesnt include handling...just wondering what the MAX HP you can get from whatever mod other than SC and Turbo....

There is so many option's. For 750.00$ you could run a 100 shot NOS plate system on a Stock good con. bottom end and hit high 13's. You could invest about 4000-7000 for an excellent running NA motor and Type-R tranny and with good tuning pull over 200 hp to the wheel's and hit high 13's with a full interior. Narrow down the options so we can get more specific
The best I have heard are in the area of 220-225 whp. You will need cool toys like Hitech headers and such though. Since the things needed to make a fast NA full body teggy are illegal in CA. I will end up going FI. Or trading in for a car that has factory turbo.
Ooops, I forget to leave out the NOS. hehehe.

That's a crap load of HP!! Thats right up there with the RSX-Type R....
Now I would never spend that kind of money when I could just use it to get an S2K and whatnot..but in my opnion, its interesting to see how much the total costs are at the very end....and if it was worth it....
In terms of narrowing it down, I would say it needs to be street legal....
So anything goes as long as its street legal and non of the options I spoke about above.....

Actually I was talking 220 to the wheels. Mathmatically the rsx-r should be in the 180ish range.
Street legal, I thing 200 whp is accomplishable, which should still beat the R.
