Default Audio Console Accesories?

I just purchased an audio console but it doesnt come with the ash tray...does anyone know where I can buy this seperatley? also, does anyone know if anything goes on the upper portion of the console? I know its suppose to be used with a factory cd changer, but if you dont have a cd changer, is there suppose to be a din storage or something there? anyone know if a reg. aftermarket head unit would fit? thanks for any info...

most people put a CD player in the top DIN opening, and use the bottom for storage/guages.....then they utilize the factory DIN opening (For the radio) to apply more engine vital guages.....

anywho, just mix and match as you like.....here's what mine looks like

when buying that do you need a new plastic piece where the shift boot is. i heard that you need the one without the cupholder cuz it has a bracket? i was wondering if you can just cut the cup holder part off and go from there?

you could buy that part, or you could just dis-assemble (break and bend in my case lol) the cup-holder mechanism, and pop that console on right over it

Naw, I just unscrewed the factory cup holder kit, and bolted in the new console.

SpoonFedHatch-
If the storage thing you put in the stock radio place bolted down? Mine is set up the same but that piece is not bolted down and always flys out under spirited driving.

I have been trying to figure out how to mount a deck in the audio console for the longest. I just saw a pic of the oem pocket installed and there is not enough space to mount a deck if it is used. Pic is below.

Are you guys buying a Double DIN audio kit so you can mount the decks down below?

I need the top slot for my Autometer gauges as well

I'm using a 99 Si cd player, and it just squeezed in there. YOu can rig bracket in the back to secure it, so it doesn't slide out when you shift hard.

The JDM ones look different than mine (EDM) the ashtray won't fit, but there is a cassette holder that goes where tha VAFC is that might.
