The title says it all. I'm taking out my slipping (piece of sh*t) Clutchmaster. I need a better clutch because that clutch master started slipping after 500miles. People say ACT or EXcedy so I'm curious what the diff's are and the pros and cons. I'm runn'n i/h/e/jrsc. Thanks

 

Just out of curiosity, what stage CM clutch did you have?

 

Did you break it in correctly? Break in on CM stage 3+ is 1000 miles... Did you talk to CM?

 

I have the same problem. I have the clutchmasters stage III clutch, and its slipping like crazy. I did proper break in and everything. My car's not even making that much power right now and it slips so much,

 

get the ACT, and follow their break-in guidelines. my friend with an mr2 has one and it was a great improvement over stock.

 

ive heard a lot about ACT, which one should i go with if im going to go turbo, im going to be running low psi.

 

not to hijack your thread, but can someone reccomend a good clutch for Mild NA + a 75 shot? This is daily driven and i want it to be streetable, yet i want to buy something beefy in case i end up rebuilding my motor.

 

Stage 5, did about 250miles, and its not 1000 CM says to do 500. I don't want to talk to CM cause My warranty is over and basically what it comes down to it is I gotta get a whole new clutch(buy a new clutcH). Basically Screw CM, I'm gonna get an ACT.

i went with a XT ACT...and all that bullshit about drag strip only is bull...its not that bad.
