Has anyone here put a SI muffler on their Ek's??
I want to put one on my hatch but dont knwo if it will look good...
the canister part seems a little big so i dont want it to appear to be hanging to much

anyone have any expereince with this?

 

why not put on an ITR exhaust on your EK? doesn't it have bigger piping than the Si? like 2" vs. the USDM ITR's 2.25" or something like that, right? and it would still look sleeper. i've seen one on a coupe (not a hatch), and it looked awesome. the muffler wasn't overly big or anything.

 

if you wanted to put the si muffler on your ek, it would bolt right up and fit perfectly....the only problem is that the tailpipe EXIT will be too long, and you'll have to trim the tail pipe exit/chrome tip to look nicely in the hatch

 

my main concern was the canister part...
i tryed putting a GSR on and it was so big that 75% of it was visible and looked wierd...

just hoping hte SI wont be as bad...

as for type R, those are rare here in montreal...

Screw the POS Si muffler. get an aftermarket exhaust or some mandrel bent piping with ES oval or Magnaflow...
