I need to find out what the stereo code is for a 92 prelude si. We were switching it from my friend Matt's car to my friend Nick's 94 Prelude. The serial # is B11014493 Reference # is CM6902A. If anybody can help me with this it would be really appreciative. Thanks

 

Call the honda dealer and have the service dept tell you. That's what I've done in the past.

 

Also check around on the car...when the dealer preps the car, they often put a sticker with the code (should be 5 digits) somewhere in the car...Look in the glove box, under the ash tray, inside the fuse box, in the trunk...I spent the time taking apart the dash to take out the radio to take to the dealer..afterwards, I found my code on the inside of my trunk of a white sticker : )

 

would a 5th gen radio fit in a 4th gen Lude???

 

I found my radio code number in a sticker under my ashtray.

 

I found my code in none of these places. Anywhere else to look?
