amber is jdm, and green is usdm, my wife has a green one in her accord, it is very very noticable, i mean it is green, but mine is totally white. has anyone ever heard of this. it' s not dim, it's really clear, i just bought it and installed it today. it looks cool.

mines white also. Never really thought about it though.

 

Think all the stock usdm civic clocks are white. Actually all Civic clocks are white, with the exception of a a orange (jdm) cover that makes the clocks appear to be orange.

i have green in my 94 coupe, it happened by accident though, the shields broke, now it's green and looks really good imho.

if you wish to change the color just remove the clock, take it apart, and add a color film of your choice. use the file folder colored tabs. you can make your own amber clock for almost nothing.
