my Sytem came in today from hytech but i dont know if it looks right.
I wanted the Type R hytech header. The system is full stainless steel and comes with 2 1/2 cat and with a double bypass stainless muffler. but mine looks like the cat back sytem it cam with a cat, resonator, and the double bypass muffler. but the muffler looks used and is damaged. Im thinking that he sent me the wrong shipment i have pictures of it. Im not saying that hytech is ripping me off i think they accidently sent the wrong shipment because there a realy good company. Im just wondering if the header is right?

Does it look like the stanless steal hytech header or does it look like the cat back header?

my tags on the header said Set C small pipe cat back.
does that sound right for the type r header?
what does the tag say on https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=431592 thread

what do you mean by a cat-back header?
it seems that you have a header and an exhaust system with an integrated cat.
everything seems fine to me.
the little dings will not have a negative effect on performance.
the header from post 431592 is a special big-tube header for cars with big cams.(and revised collectors)

Not going to comment on that, however the system inarguably does look used.

It does look used. Perhaps they dyno tested it or something before they shipped it out? You would think they would have used a prototype to test with, and not your <U>NEW</U> exhaust!

Thats my exhaust.
Thats my exhaust.
btw, hytech is in the middle of moving their facility to another location (basically same building but different room or something) so they won't be able to build anything until mid may. That's what I've been told when I contacted them about a week ago regarding some of their products.

I am not a fan of Hytech, but it's only because of how the owner presents himself, having lied to the whole community of Honda Tech before.
The owner's personality doesn't really speak to the product, however, and I am still curious to know how Hytech products perform, and having the before and after dyno of your particular car would help set our fears to rest.</TD></TR></TABLE> Haven't people already posted dyno gains of both before and after hytech full systems? (header, cat, exhaust) his tactics may have been childish but its hard to argue that his character is in anyway reflected in his craftsmanship of his product. I am looking at getting a full system in the future, and am interested if there are any performance issues with the product, rather than personal differences with John. I have seen some of his work in person and it looks amazing. However, like yourself, I am interested in seeing dynos of before / after which would justify the price.
