Observations on new OEM fuel filter install - 94 accord EX
Just thought I'd share my experience with installing a new honda fuel filter.
Car 132k, had a filter change at 70k
With new filter, car was significantly smoother (10%) and power was up (10%) under WOT. I had a 1st gear engagment problem that was solved (car would burp and shunder) and upshifts and downshifts (w/ proper heel-toe rev) seem SOOO much smoother. It almost feels like my shifter assembly was lubricated - weird.
Worth the dough if your doing work down there (like changing the master cylinder).
