Thanks for all the responses guys.
here's my situation, i have a 1997 Honda Prelude VTEC (Base 5spd), someone broke into it about a year ago, and bashed the driverside window, and the fucked the ignition up trying to steal it, but lucky us 5g owners have the Immobilizer System, and they had no luck....well i fixed the glass, and installed a new Ignition from honda, but now all the car does is crank, and does not start....so i need to know the basis, or schematic on the Immbolizer System, if you guys can make copies of the Immbolizer System Itself, and the Removal & Install, and fax em to me, i'd appreicate it, or if someone is able to scan them and email em' to me!
let me know guys...i really appreciate it.

Sounds like the immobilizer receiver that goes around the key cylinder might have got damaged. Does the yellow security key indicator light blink after you put the key in? If so the immobilizer receiver sees the wrong key or probably in your case the immobilizer receiver itself is damaged. I have the Helms in PDF format but just chapter 23, which is the body electrical section, is 47 Megs.

i think you were supposed to get a new key with that kit so the new transponder recognizes it. it should have come with a red master programmer key, depending on the year of the car. and you never use the red master key as it will delete the transponder's signal. you just take the red master to honda and they use it to program a blackhead key for you.
the 1997's are a bit different than all the other Prelude immobilizer systems. also, when purchased new, the car is supposed to come with the red key... but none of them did, as they were accidentially shipped from Japan without them. that red key is require to program a new key... but sometimes they can program from a blackhead key if the signal from it is strong enough. so if you lost a key for the 97, many cases found that the user had to replace the whole immobilizer system.
dammit, i'm tired and rambling. my keys were lost when a louisiana vehicle inspection station lost them... i had to replace the whole immobilizer system. i know what's goin on and what you need to do... but my sleep-deprived brain wont allow my fingers to type it.
just hit me up on AIM: turbodrift51 sometime tonight after i get some rest.

ok, i just talked to him on AIM.
i finally got the **** to spit from my brain... here goes:
he has to get the ECM reprogrammed with the new codes. the receiver and key match, that's why the starter will crank. but the ECM wont accept the signal since it's still programmed with the old key's code... so the ignition system is still disconnected, keeping it from starting.
Honda has a programming PGM tester assembly that can be used to reprogram the immobilizer code in the ECM. it's usually a $100 or less job.
