Default new motor what type of oil??

sup guys im planning on building a motor and i was wondering since its gonna be brand new, what type of oil should i use to break it in?? i got a 96 gsr swap right now and all i use is 10w-30 mobil 1 fully synthetic. can i use the same oil to break it in or will it be too thin?? also if i use another oil how long do i have to break the motor in before i put in my mobil 1 ?

use normal oil for the first 500-1000 miles.
