Dual exhaust will not give you better flow. It even loses power on the S2000, which is why so many of the owners go for a single pipe system.
Also, you're not going to be able to have 'dual exhaust' on a 4 cyl. You'll have a single pipe going back that splits at a muffler and runs 2 tips out the rear of the car. In other words: you'll have a really twist and turny exhaust pipe that makes it LOOK like you have 'dual exhaust', while restricting flow.

How exactly do you have dual exhaust on a 4 cylinder with 1 exhaust port? I'm pretty sure you have to have 2 exhaust ports to have DUAL exhaust..
Stick with 1 exhaust rice boy..

damn some of u guys are just ********...my boyfriend said it was a bad idea...but as least i thought u guys could have given me a "technical" answer...instead u call me rice-boy and stupid? i even asked not to flame me. damn some of u guys are fucked up
i have seen dyno plots from team spugen where a single exhaust gains power but a dual upgrade exhaust gain even more so dual doesnt hurt on a s2000.

to answer your question look at it this way......................1000hp skylines only have 1 exhaust...it is 4inches or more but still one....if you are going turbo and plan on running 18 psi or more then i would go with a 3 inch SINGLE exhaust

whenever you ask how to for dual exhaust, alteezas, one windsheld wiper, etc..... expect to be flamed regardless you like it or not. as soon as you post this you are fair game.
stick with a single tip IMO

I have a turbo'ed 4cylinder accord with 2.5 inch catback, single pipe, single muffler, it's enough for me.
take off the cat and get a turbo spec aka free flow muffler(apexi N1,apexi RS,etc)
matching size downpipe, high flow cat(or test pipe) and exhaust pipe.
You'll be fine.

your planning on turbocharging your car and you have the mindset of thinking a dual exaust will help your car which is equipped with an inline 4-cylinder?? I hope you research more about running a turbo car before you make some more mistakes with your setup. Good luck.
If your concerned about flow get a nice free flowing 2.5"-3" exaust with minimal bends from the turbo back witha straight through muffler....if thats still too restrictive for you run a dump.
Plus I dont think pics will help you convince yourself that it flows better

typical rice boy think dual is better, when they're split it off one pipe..
single is better for any Inline motor.
dual is only for V motors.
comon, go find out how motors work.
and i dont hink you should be worrying about exhaust flow, you should be worrying about tunning that turbo. 9/10 turbo setup i see, run very shitty.
GSR Turbo gettin spank by b16 NA, so sad..

WOW, maybe you should work for HONDA and tell them that they did the exhaust wrong on the S2000. I'm sure they know a hell lot more then you. I find it hard to believe that so many owners switch to a single pipe system too.

cause it's lighter and flows better. do you really think honda up dual mufflers on the s2k for performance?

...I think someone needs to get their priorities straight before they slap a turbo on their car
