Hey, this kind of a dumb question, but i have never noticed before... Is the center tailight piece different on 88-89 crx's vs. the 90-91s? Would 91 tails bolt right up to an 89, using the same harness/bulbs?? Thanks

 

they bolt right up and the harnessess work, but the 88-89 tails dont have a dark trim around the outside of the light, whereas the 90-91 do.

 

Yeah thats kinda why i wanted to pick up a pair, change it up a little bit

 

is it for a crx or a hatch?
for a hatch the center piece is the same the corners are just a darker tint than the 88-89s, also with the 90-91s they have 2 brake light bulbs instead of one.

Its for a crx, i know the tailights have a dark trim around them, thats why i want them. I am asking about the center piece between the tailights though. Almost every car i see 90-91, the center piece looks much darker, a dark red color.
