IMO, it's a matter of personal preference.

they both have about the same hp, but the H22a has a little more torque.
the sir-t has higher compression, but they usually cost quite a bit more than the h22a.

it's up to YOU.

Yes both motors are a direct swap well at least for the 5th gen. But yea you will pay a lot more for the SIR-t F20B motor and it has less tq than the JDM H22A. As for what Cams to put in the H22A you could go with the JDM OEM Honda Type S cams, or go with the Skunk2 cams which are very good, and then also upgrade the Valvetrain at the same time.

displacement displacement displacement displacement

its extremely important, you want the h22a since you are interested in cams which means 'all motor', look at skunk2 cams or Jun

What's the saying??

There's no replacement for displacement!

Tell that to someone with a b18c5 They'll laugh at you. But yeah, you want the more displacement on big *** Accords, I think the reason is that the more displacement you have the more torque you produce at lower RPMs. That's probably wrong, but other than that I don't see the big difference. :> f20b or h22a, both would be sweet *** engines.
